1. Spray gun
Working principle of spray gun:
The spray gun is the most frequently moved component and is a simple machine with a trigger-operated ball valve as its core. The spray gun valve bead is kept in the closed or forward position under the action of water flow. Or seal off the passage of water through the gun to the nozzle. When the trigger is pulled, it pushes a piston against the bead, forcing the bead off the valve seat and opening a path for water to flow to the nozzle. When the trigger is released, the beads return to the valve seat under the action of the spring and seal the channel. When the parameters permit, the spray gun should be comfortable for the operator. Generally speaking, front-loading guns are used in low-voltage equipment and are less expensive. Rear entry guns are more comfortable, they rarely stay in place, and the hose does not block the operator’s path.
Common faults of spray guns:
If the high-pressure cleaning machine starts the spray gun but does not produce water, if it self-primes, there is air in the high-pressure pump. Turn on and off the spray gun repeatedly until the air in the high-pressure pump is discharged, then the water can be discharged, or turn on the tap water and wait for the water to come out of the spray gun and then switch to the self-priming equipment. If tap water is connected, it is possible that the high and low pressure valves in the high pressure pump are stuck after being left for a long time. Use an air compressor to spray air into the equipment from the water inlet. When the air is sprayed out from the spray gun, connect the tap water and start the equipment.
2. Nozzle
Nozzle working principle:
The nozzle affects pressure and efficiency. Small spray area means greater pressure. This is why rotating nozzles are becoming more and more popular. They do not actually increase the pressure, but they use a zero-degree spray angle in a motion. , to cover a larger area faster than if you were using a zero degree angle.
Common nozzle failures:
If one or two holes in a porous spray gun nozzle are blocked, the spray force and reaction force of the nozzle or nozzle will be unbalanced, and it will tilt in one direction or backward, and the object will swing rapidly in a directional manner, causing the operation Huge damage to personnel. Therefore, it needs to be inspected with low-pressure water before shooting, and it can only work after confirming that there are no holes blocked.
3. Gun barrel

Typically 1/8 or 1/4 inch in diameter, it should be long enough to prevent the operator from placing their hands in front of the nozzle during high pressure conditions. The end gives you an angle, and the length means how far away you can be from the object being cleaned without getting splashed. Cleaning efficiency may decrease as the distance between you and the object being cleaned increases. For example, the pressure of a 12-inch machine will only be half that of a 6-inch machine.
Common faults of gun barrels:
The nozzle and spray rod or high-pressure hose are usually connected by threaded connection or quick connector. If the connection is not firm, the nozzle will fall off, and the high-pressure hose will swing around in disorder, injuring people around.
